Spreewald Thermenhotel, Burg
This new hotel, right next to the Spreewald Therme thermal spa, was built and opened at the beginning of 2013. The architects endeavoured to place the building in the context of the neighbouring Spreewald Forest and to use the landscape as a stylistic influence for the building. For example, photo wallpapers with Spreewald motifs decorate corridors and rooms. The latter were equipped with double-winged doors to offer guests a beautiful view of the surrounding area, which they can enjoy not only from the bed but also from the bath, if they push the bathroom mirrors aside.Â
Guests can use the Spreewald Therme’s eight pools, seven saunas, hot water pool with flow channel, steam bath, gym and rooms for wellness treatments, which guests can reach in their bathrobes via a special corridor from the hotel.
