Hotel Zoo Berlin
Hotel Zoo, already the star of Berlin’s famous Kurfürstendamm during the 20s and 50s and located in the west of the city, has been restored to its former glory after almost 2 years of conversion work. None of the 131 rooms or 14 suites in the 120-year-old building is like any of the others. Each room has its own character. American designer Dayna Lee refurbished the interior of the hotel with great attention to detail, without losing its historical character. For example, leopards imprinted on a jade green carpet guide the guest from the natural stone entrance portal to the reception 22 m away and open the way to the lobby, called the “Living Room”. During the extensive renovation and completion, APPIA has made every effort to lend this “OLD GEM” its new interior “POLISH”.
