Dorint Airport-Hotel Zürich
Even from the outside, the new 4* hotel at Zurich Airport is a real eye-catcher because the modern 5-storey building is shaped like a Swiss cross. One of the highlights is the hotel’s lobby, which is located at the intersection of the cross and gives the guest a clear view to the sky 5 storeys upwards. There is also an art installation featuring an authentic Swiss bobsled, floating high above the guests’ heads. From the sound-insulated superior rooms on the 5th storey, one can observe the airport’s runway. Another special feature are the meeting suites, consisting of a hotel room with a connecting door to a private conference room. APPIA was responsible for the complete furnishing in this interesting project.
