Dorint Hotels & Resorts in Switzerland has already enjoyed many years of successful cooperation with APPIA in the further development of our 3 existing hotels in Beatenberg, Basel and Zurich and with the expansion of the portfolio with the Essential by Dorint Interlaken, the first new construction project of the Essential by Dorint brand in Switzerland has been realized. The proven constructive, open and very cooperative relationship with APPIA played a key role in enabling us to set new standards in interior design and functionality in Interlaken. The open-minded and innovative interior design, the very precise and reliable planning, the professional support and implementation of the interior fit-out and not forgetting the support in “after sales” convince us time and again that APPIA is the ideal partner for our projects.
At Triforêt alpin.resort, I wanted to create a unique atmosphere that goes beyond all expectations. The interior design team at Appia immediately understood and realised my vision. The result is a modern alpine design concept that captures the natural surroundings and at the same time radiates exclusivity.
Appia also proved to be an extremely reliable partner for us in the further realisation of the project. My motto is: “We won’t take ‘no’ for an answer, anything is possible”. And Appia has proven this time and time again. The tight schedule was perfectly adhered to so that the Triforêt could be opened on time for the ski season. Numerous pieces of furniture were customised according to our ideas in Appia’s furniture factory in order to do justice to the unique design of the Triforêt.

In Appia we have found a building partner who listens to us. The Ronald McDonald Houses are intended to offer the families of seriously ill children a temporary home and a place of retreat away from the daily routine of the hospital, in rooms that provide a sense of security. Appia has implemented these requirements to our great satisfaction and at the same time kept to the defined time and budget plan. During our long-standing partnership, Appia has already completed interior design projects in eleven Ronald McDonald homes. Therefore, we had great confidence in the Appia-team from the very beginning when we awarded the general contractor contract for the building construction and interior fittings.
In recent years, we have repeatedly renovated the existing rooms together with APPIA. With the extension and renovation of the entire restaurant level and the construction of six new suites, the largest construction step in our company’s history followed in 2022 – a great challenge for us in difficult times. With the help of our long-established, reliable partner APPIA, we succeeded in offering our guests a real WOW experience, creating unique rooms to feel good in and taking our hotel to a new level. Our thanks go to the entire team with the incredibly hardworking and always friendly craftsmen professionals on site. We would choose APPIA again and again.
We were already enthusiastic about the Appia company at the first presentation – here we were presented with a very comprehensive and descriptive proposal for the new rooms. After we had specified our ideas, the second proposal almost created our dream room. During the sampling in Peterskirchen, we were then able to make the final choice of materials quite quickly. The installation of the rooms went smoothly. Appia kept to the agreed schedule. Unfortunately, this is not always the case these days and deserves great praise.
We really appreciated having a contact person who took care of everything from the planning to the construction phase to the invoicing. We will continue to request the Appia company in the future.
It was always a ‘snuggle nest’, but now our guests can cosy up and sleep even better. Appia was tasked with updating the 6 suites and 21 snuggle nests. Barbara & Christian, the junior managers, already had an idea. However, with the dedicated staff at Appia, it was even easier to achieve fantastic results. The planning was professional, completed on time and we were even able to let out the rooms one week before the agreed completion date – great – we appreciate it. Even at the initial meeting, we immediately sensed that APPIA had a highly competent team. They got to grips with our property beforehand and took our requests and wishes on board.
