The Hotel Schweizerhof in Sils Maria is a popular destination for families and winter sports enthusiasts. A special attraction are the stylishly designed rooms, which are furnished with the region’s typical Swiss stone pine wood. In these generously proportioned rooms, the pleasant scent of Engadine Swiss stone pine wood is combined with warm colours to create a cosy atmosphere. In order to preserve the soothing scent of wood in the newly renovated design rooms, the Swiss stone pine has been left in its natural form. The essential oils in the wood have been proven to contribute to a better quality of sleep and relaxation.

The renovation work was completed in just ten weeks by the company APPIA and included a variety of renovation measures, including drywall construction, painting, plastering, parquet and tiling as well as carpets. In addition, new furniture was installed in the rooms and public areas, loose furnishings, lights, doors as well as the complete furnishing of the wet rooms and the interior design of the lifts.
