“Great sound meets intelligence”. The AXON in Isernhagen sets new architectural standards. It serves as the German headquarters of Loxone Germany and, at the same time, as the headquarters of Quadral, Loxone’s subsidiary specialising in high-quality loudspeaker technology. The building brings together modern workspaces with a showroom, an Audio Competence Centre, and training and event areas under one roof.
The exterior façade of the office impresses with its clean-lined architecture. Inside, we have carried this high standard of functionality, quality and aesthetics through: as part of the FF&E scope of work, we have implemented all joinery, doors, wall cladding, kitchens, the reception area and bespoke office furniture. Recurring wooden slats provide a warm contrast to the modern exposed concrete surfaces. Glass walls create transparency, allow daylight to flood deep into the workspaces and maintain the openness of the rooms without isolating the workspaces from one another. Strategically placed LED light strips highlight the subtle details of the material selection. The combination of natural tones and grey colour accents creates a pleasant sense of space. The design draws on the brand identities of Loxone and Quadral, thereby creating a high level of brand recognition. It offers both an auditory and visual experience, with the entire spatial concept controlled via Loxone’s smart home system.
