With VAUX am Rhein, VAUX is creating a new venue for enjoyment and socializing. Within the historic Burg Crass in Eltville am Rhein, spaces are being created for tastings, guided tours, events, dining, and the sale of the VAUX product line. APPIA is responsible for the interior design and retail fit-out, translating the brand’s premium image into the new spaces.
Since 1868, »Sekthaus VAUX« has stood for traditional sparkling wine production and special moments of indulgence. This identity forms the foundation for the interior architecture and commercial design of VAUX am Rhein. Colors, shapes, and materials echo the branding of the bottles and the brand itself, blending it with the historic character of the landmark building.

From the VAUX Boutique to the Historic Vaulted Cellar

A special area is the historic vaulted cellar. At its center is a custom-designed display counter in the shape of a »V«, derived from the VAUX logo. The high-gloss orange surface adds a striking accent. Bar stools and indirect lighting create a relaxed atmosphere for tastings and shared moments of enjoyment.
The showroom and VAUX Boutique translate the brand identity of VAUX into a clear, contemporary interior design. A spacious sales counter with a marble surface forms the centerpiece of the room. Colorful shelves and cubic sales islands showcase sparkling wine, gift ideas, and gourmet foods, echoing the color palette of the VAUX branding.
A variety of seating options allows for flexible use of the light-filled spaces: built-in benches are paired with freestanding furniture such as poufs and bar stools. This creates a blend of shop, showroom, and lounge that is also well-suited for various events.
The concept is complemented by a brasserie offering pastries, coffee, and aperitifs, as well as the sparkling wine garden right on the Rhine.
