Gasthof Hummel in Stammham is being extended with a new hotel building to offer guests even more comfort in a modern ambience. The new building comprises a total of four floors: the basement houses the building services, storage areas and public toilet facilities.
The first floor houses the breakfast room with buffet, the reception and the new catering kitchen. Seven guest rooms will be built on the 1st floor, while a further six guest rooms will be created on the 2nd floor, making a total of 13 modern rooms are available.
As the general contractor, we are taking on the entire planning and execution and are supervising all service phases – from the design and execution planning, tendering and construction management through to the interior fit-out. The new building will be a solid construction from the basement to the top floor, while the roof structure will be a hipped roof in timber construction with sheet metal cladding. It was particularly important to us to incorporate the characteristics of the existing building into the new construction, which is reflected above all in the choice of the hipped roof.
hipped roof. Nevertheless, the new building is deliberately set apart from the existing building by an intermediate structure with an elevator tower and forms an independent structure. This intermediate structure allows all floors to be connected to the existing building without steps.
The interior design of the guest rooms combines stylish elegance with functional comfort.
A floating bed with indirect lighting, a perfectly fitting bed headboard and harmoniously coordinated built-in wardrobes create a uniform aesthetic.
A wardrobe with seating area and the wooden wall paneling behind the TV round off the sophisticated design.
