Following the remodelling and extension of the popular hotel near Linz airport, guests now have 68 rooms, four stylishly furnished suites and a completely redesigned public area at their disposal. The hotel is run by the third generation of a traditional hotelier family, who attach great importance to preserving tradition while offering the many regular guests – especially business travellers, conference delegates and tourists to Linz – the comfort they are used to in a surprisingly new ambience.
The refurbishment was planned and fully realised by Appia Contract. The public area of the hotel, which boasts a fascinating wine area, is particularly noteworthy. A backlit glass wall adorned with vines creates a unique eye-catcher. A spacious bar area and an open fireplace in the lobby also contribute to the cosy atmosphere.
The rooms are presented in two different colour schemes: the olive-coloured rooms feature open bathroom areas, while the orange-coloured rooms are decorated in warm bronze tones. Each suite offers individual specialities, such as the Romeo+Juliet suite, which has a round, free-standing four-poster bed with canopy and a bathtub in the room. The bathtub is framed by an upholstered bench, which gives it a particularly stylish touch.
