The Hotel & Restaurant Olymp in Eching is located just outside Munich. With its convenient location, the hotel is not only an ideal starting point for exploring the Bavarian capital or watching a football match at the Allianz Arena, but also the perfect accommodation for trade fair visitors and conference guests. With a total of 132 cosy rooms and flats, several conference rooms, excellent catering and an in-house wellness area, the hotel offers everything your heart desires.

Interior design of the family rooms inspired by nature

Eight spacious family rooms are currently being completely redesigned and renovated by Appia. Inspired by motifs from nature, the rooms bring the feeling of a tropical jungle directly into the hotel. A wallpaper that imitates a curtain blowing gently in the wind in front of palm trees creates a feeling of space. Earthy colours and wood decors lend the hotel rooms a warm and inviting atmosphere, while wall panelling with milled slats and cushions in a vibrant rust red set soothing accents. All-round stucco mouldings on the ceiling have been retained from the existing building. With a pull-out sofa bed or a recamiere, the new superior family rooms offer space for 3 to 4 people. Oversized beds increase comfort and ensure a restful night’s sleep. The bathrooms in the hotel rooms have also been completely renovated. The jungle feeling continues here: a large rainforest motif adorns the back wall of the floor-level shower and the towel rails are modelled on bamboo poles.

Range of services from interior design to furnishing

In addition to the interior design, Appia was also commissioned with the interior fit-out and furnishing of the eight family rooms. As the general contractor for the interior fit-out, Appia is coordinating all the finishing trades and ensuring that all the details are perfectly coordinated – from the tiles and sanitary installations to the built-in furniture. Wall panels, desks, interior doors and much more are customised in the Appia furniture factory.

Realisation of an additional conference room

In addition, a new, modern conference room for up to 14 people has been created by merging two hotel rooms on the ground floor. Multifunctionally equipped with a TV and whiteboard, conference guests can hold workshops in a relaxed atmosphere. The colour concept is also successfully continued in the conference room: with warm greige, soft green and strong rust red.
