The 4-star superior Hotel Ritzlerhof is enthroned on a high plateau in the picturesque Tyrolean village of Sautens, at the entrance to the Ötztal. This adults-only hotel is an ideal destination for wellness lovers and sports enthusiasts. As general contractor, Appia was responsible for the interior design and complete furnishing of the hotel during an 8-month renovation.

The hotel owners’ wish was to create an interior with a close connection to the region. This was achieved through the use of local materials, rustic wood paneling and furniture fabrics in traditional Tyrolean style. The result is a hotel that offers its guests a sustainable feel-good experience in a cozy and authentic ambience.
