At the family-run 4-star Allgäuhotel Tanneck, the name says it all. The room categories are named after the surrounding mountains and typical alpine flowers such as edelweiss and clover. The alpine surroundings are also reflected in the interior design: The mountain motif of the wallpaper is continued on the glass wall to the bathroom and shows the panorama of the Allgäu Alps. Natural materials such as wood, leather and furs were selected for the hotel furnishings, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. The walls are decorated with graphics of hikers and photographs of famous mountaineers. The Appia team took on the planning and implementation of 12 double rooms and 3 suites, including the “Kluftinger Suite”. This special suite is dedicated to the protagonist of the successful book series by the author duo Volker Klüpfel and Michael Kobr. A cozy reading corner with “Kluftinger’s” passport seat creates a unique flair here. On the bathroom door, there is another loving reference to the book series: summit sayings and quotes that fans of the stories will recognize.
