The Living Hotel Großer Kurfürst is located directly on the River Spree and just a stone’s throw from Berlin’s Museum Island – a business hotel with spacious rooms and serviced flats that is equally suited to city trips and longer stays. The newly renovated breakfast restaurant guarantees the perfect start to the day. A golden sign with a charming ‘Juten Morjen’ greets guests and makes them smile in the morning. Appia was responsible for the interior design and realisation of the new breakfast area. Warm beige tones on the coffered walls meet sky-blue upholstered furniture – a play of colours that radiates calm and creates a cosy atmosphere. In the buffet area, a custom-made counter sets the tone: dark wooden surfaces, black wall tiles and atmospheric lighting on the shelves form the stylish centrepiece. The furnishings – from the buffet furniture to the tables – come from the in-house Appia furniture production facility and are a testament to the quality of the craftsmanship.
