The mountain village of Saas-Fee in the Swiss canton of Valais is surrounded by 18 four-thousand-metre peaks. Thanks to its high alpine location and around 300 days of sunshine a year, the small village is particularly popular with winter sports enthusiasts. From skiing and glacier tours to ice climbing, winter sports fans and adrenaline junkies get their money’s worth. The new Revier Mountain Lodge in Saas-Fee is as unique and cool as its surroundings. The hotel concept is aimed at young people and the young at heart who appreciate modern design and a lively atmosphere. The Revier Group’s newest hotel offers hotel rooms in a modern cabin style, cool daily events and live acts in the grill restaurant and The Fox House Music Bar, as well as co-working spaces, a cinema and a fitness room. The hotel was built using modular construction methods – including the prefabricated hotel rooms. While the room furnishings are reduced to the essentials, the public area impresses with casual furnishings in industrial chic. The Appia team was responsible for the furnishings, floor coverings and wall design. This is the third project in which the Revier Group has relied on Appia’s expertise.
