The Schiestl wellness hotel is located in the heart of the breathtaking Zillertal mountains, just 150 metres from the Spieljochbahn valley station. Appia was once again commissioned to assist the Schiestl with the renovation work. The current project includes the interior design concept and the FF&E package for a total of 25 hotel rooms on three floors.

Creative colour concepts and stylish accents

The colour concept for the hotel rooms is divided into two parts: One part of the renovated rooms presents itself in a pastel turquoise, while the second colour concept is in a warm raspberry tone. The interior design concept aimed to break up the predominant pastel colours with a variety of accents. These include not only decorative floral motifs, but also lively bird motifs on the acoustic wall panelling. Stylish hanging chairs round off the modern look of the rooms and create an airy sense of space. In addition, boho-style bamboo lights were used to give the room a neutral and natural component. A cosy corner in each room provides additional comfort, creating an atmospheric ambience with lovingly arranged decorative cushions.

Simple elegance for the work areas

In addition to redesigning the hotel rooms, Appia was also commissioned to design an office and meeting room. In contrast to the rooms, the emphasis here was on a simpler and quieter interior.
