The Hotel Zoo in Berlin, which was the star of the famous Berlin Kürfürstendamm in the 1920’s and 1950’s, radiates in new splendour after almost 2 years of renovation works. The American designer Dayna Lee gave the building interior a new look without losing its historical character. None of the 131 rooms and 14 suites in the 120-year-old building are the same. Meanwhile, the jade-green leopard carpet in the lobby has become particularly well-known. As a general contractor, Appia was responsible for all renovation and interior construction work of the listed building as well as the complete interior design and furnishings.
